Appointed by Charing Cross Housing Association, CBS successfully undertook the external repair and refurbishment of this tenement block in the West End of Glasgow.
Works comprised external fabric repairs, rot treatments, re-roofing, lead works, renewal of gutters and downpipes, stone restoration and window renewal. To complete the project the close area was upgraded and the front garden was landscaped.
The combination of continual communication with the residents and careful planning, allowed CBS to effectively undertake the works in-line with the agreed programme and with minimal disruption to the in-situ residents.
Restored to its former glory, this stunning sandstone building contributes to the vibrancy, regeneration and sustainability of the Kelvinbridge area.
