CBS have been awarded the contract to repair and refurbish this iconic 1898 James Miller building at the corner of Norfolk Street and Bridge Street.
Works will comprise of slate and lead roofing, stone restoration, dry rot eradication, new windows, structural repairs and decoration.
Sympathetic restoration of the octagonal corner turret, corbelled oriels and Edwardian baroque carvings will see this impressive building returned to its former glory.
The contract value is in excess of £400,000 and it is jointly funded by Glasgow City Council and a Building Repair Grant from The Glasgow City Heritage Trust.
The Trust grants programme aims to improve the sustainability of Glasgows` heritage for current and future generations.
