CBS has been appointed by Glasgow City Council to deliver the £498k statutory repairs contract at 127 – 129 Albert Road in Crosshill.
The serious disrepair and deterioration are evident on this old Victorian tenement and this project requires the entire front elevation to be rebuilt.
Additional works include replacement of roof coverings, chimney repairs with associated flashing works, structural timber repairs due to timber infestation from rot outbreaks, stone repair and replacement to side and rear elevations.
All work will be carried out to the highest specification to ensure the building meets the Tolerable Standard as set out in the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987 and amended in the 2006 Act.
