CBS are giving an extensive makeover to a vast five-storey blond sandstone tenement building located in the Glasgow West Conservation Area.
The 26-week project was given the go-ahead after the owners were offered 50% grant funding by Glasgow City Council to carry-out essential repairs to roofs, stonework, and existing windows.
The extensive programme of works includes: rot treatments, re-roofing, lead flashing, chimney repairs, renewal of gutters, stone restoration, sash and case windows, new internal finishings with repairs and decoration to the common close.
As the project is progressing whilst residential properties remain occupied, rigorous procedures relating to security, housekeeping and covid safe work practices are being maintained.
