It’s Scottish Apprenticeship Week, an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of individual apprentices and all those who contribute to their success.
The campaign theme for 2019 is ‘Skills for the Future’, recognising the importance of investing in our workforce.
Organised by Skills Development Scotland, Scottish Apprenticeship Week highlights the commitment of businesses that invest in the skills of their workforce.
It also highlights changes to apprenticeships including the introduction of Foundation Apprenticeships for senior pupils and Graduate Apprenticeships for work-based learners.
CBS joinery apprentice, Jevan Gold continues to combine work-based learning with studies at South Lanarkshire College. Now in his second year, he continues to bring fresh ideas, an injection of enthusiasm and a genuine passion for the industry.
