CBS has been appointed to complete the alteration and renovation of 21 Springbank Street to provide a day care centre and a separate residential unit for persons with autism.
The new purpose-built centre will bring together teams of clinicians, experts and therapists under one roof allowing young persons with severe autism ongoing education, support and therapy.
The £400,000 renovation will see the creation of a calming sensory room, support and therapy rooms, residential bedrooms with accessible en-suite facilities and spacious dining and common areas.
The design and adaptation have been carefully considered; with the aim of enhancing well-being whilst ensuring the safety of residents and staff.
Designed and built in consultation with Queens Cross Housing Association and Scottish Autism, this facility will be a valuable asset that will allow people with autism to improve their daily living skills and independence.
