CBS returned to site in June and even though life seems to be getting back to some kind of normality, the future is still uncertain, and caution remains. Despite having new working practices, it would be remiss of us to think the risks have just gone away.
To ensure that we are doing things right and that our workforce, clients, supply chain and communities are always kept safe, top management have had countless meetings to adapt processes.
Our strict health and safety regime has seen the introduction of employee temperature screening, enhanced cleaning processes including hand sanitising stations, flexible working measures, additional PPE and socially distanced site meetings.
Health and safety remain our top priority, we will continue to work to all current industry guidelines and ensure our sites adhere to social distancing guidance for as long as necessary.
Despite all that has occurred over the past six months, CBS continues to go from strength to strength with multiple new contract awards, re-appointment to the Glasgow City Council Statutory Repairs Framework and record-breaking turnover figures for 2019-20.
